James Traficant For President In 2008?
That is the buzz on several myspace, and AOL forums. It seem with so many Americans pissed off with the choices we have for President with Bacrock Obama, Hellary Rotten Clinton, and John McLame, they are tempted to write in former Ohio Congressmen James Traficant for president. I know as much as all of you that there would never be enough write ins for Traficant to ever win, but it does make you wonder how things would get shaken up with a man like him in The Oval Office.
I will be honest with you, I like Jim Traficant, and I believe he was framed for exposing so much corruption in our Federal Government. If our country ever turns around and returns to the principles of its founding fathers, it will be people like Jim Traficant, and Ron Paul that lead and inspire it. I remember Jim’s statement before congress right before he was kicked out, and he is right Janet Reno is a traitor along with everybody in our federal government and they should all be hanged by their balls 
Now time to wake up back to reality and decide If I will support John McLame, or write in James Traficant, because Hellary, Bacrock, and McLame are all the same and that’s a bunch of open border loving Anti-American Traitors!

He’s still in prision I believe for another year yet which is what makes this write in campaign effort even more funny.
His speaches may have sounded crazy, but his words were all so true.

James Anthony Traficant, Jr. (born May 8, 1941) is a former Democratic Representative in the United States Congress from Ohio (from 1985 to 2002). He was expelled after being convicted of taking bribes, filing false tax returns, racketeering, and forcing his aides to perform chores at his farm in Ohio and on his houseboat in Washington, D.C.,[1] and is currently serving out an eight-year prison term with a projected release date of September 2, 2009.[2]

In 2002, Traficant was indicted on federal corruption charges for taking campaign funds for personal use. Again, he opted to represent himself, insisting that the trial was part of a vendetta against him dating to his 1983 trial. During the trial, Traficant frequently argued with the judge and screamed at prosecutors and witnesses. On April 15, he was convicted of 10 felony counts including bribery, racketeering, and tax evasion. The House Ethics Committee recommended that he be expelled from the House, and on July 25 the House voted 420-1 to expel him. Gary Condit was the lone “no” vote and there were nine members who voted “present.” Traficant was the first representative to be expelled since Michael Myers’s expulsion in 1980 as a result of the Abscam scandal.
After his expulsion, Traficant ran as an independent candidate for another term in the House while incarcerated in a federal prison in White Deer, Pennsylvania. He received 15 percent of the vote (27,487 votes) and became one of only a handful of individuals in the history of the United States to run for a federal office from prison. The election was won by one of his former aides, Tim Ryan.
In March 2004, the Federal Bureau of Prisons moved Traficant to the Federal Correctional Institution, Ray Brook. As of July 2007, the Federal Bureau of Prisons listed Traficant at the Federal Medical Center, Rochester, an administrative facility providing specialized mental health services. Traficant has taken up artwork while in prison.
In addition to his tirades on the House floor and his independent tack, he was also known for his garish clothes and ill-fitting toupee[4] and his loathing of NAFTA, the CIA, the FBI and the IRS.

Believe me if you saw some of the comments I reject on a regular basis they are far more immature and juvenile then the few I allow. I allow some of them for the reason of exposing the level of maturity these elites really are.
It’s amazing how quick the elite is ready to trash Traficant. I want these elites to tell me why they disagree with his viewpoints so much?

Yep, I’ve know Stefan for over 30 years now, but other than the time I ran into him a couple years ago while shopping at Vanity Fair, I haven’t seen or heard from him since 1998. It would be interesting for people here to know how long I’ve known Shadow. We go way back too.
Re: Hillary2008’s comment - I never said I support Traficant. If you read my comments, I’m the one who brought up his prison time and commented on liking his crazy speeches. I thought they were entertaining with his wild outfits, misfitting toupe, props, etc. I never said I agreed with the content.
I’ll tell you what, I am amazed at some of the people that hold elected office in this country. Simply amazing.
And Hillary2008, you proved my second point by referring to people as clowns and retards. I’ll bet Hillary is overjoyed to have you on her team…
