I left a comment on grassrootspa.com earlier this afternoon when I heard a rumor about democrats claiming to be with the Hillary campaign telling potential voters that Obama will pardon cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal if he’s elected president. This comes after just a couple of days when Ed Rendell made a racist comment about Pennsylvanians that they will never elect a black guy.
I have also been tipped off that people have been receiving robo calls of this same nature, however they do not indicate who paid for the message. These calls have been going around Berks, Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, and Philadelphia counties where Abu Jamal is known for killing a police officer in the early 80’s and has been a hot button issue in the area as they want Jamal to fry.
According to anonymous chatters online the robo call starts with describing Obama’s record as a civil rights attorney and how he worked to defend Stanly “Tookie” Williams leader of the crypts gang who was recently put to death in California, Angela Davis a known name with The Black Panthers and The Communist Party, and members of MOVE particularly Mumia Abu Jamal.
After doing more research, I can not find any record of Obama pledging any pardons for anybody, nor defending any of these thugs.
This sounds like a Clinton type stunt, or a Fast Eddie Rendell stunt. Whoever it is I can bet it’s a party hack, Moveon.org or some other 527 group who could care less about breaking the rules.
If you receive this robo call I was told that they block the caller ID, so if you live in the counties mentioned I encourage you to pick up that phone, and record it, and report it, because if they are not disclosing who it is, it’s pretty much illegal on those grounds alone. One thing is clear. This call is engineered to scare white people to the polls to vote for Hillary and whoever is behind it needs to be called on it.
