Sorry for the delay, but I have been extremely busy over the past few weeks, and hope to get back on track real soon. In brief here is my take.
1. Wyomissing’s own Mayor Marvel-Less Tom McMahon does not have a mandate. For somebody to perform poorly like that proves the only thing Mayor Marvel-Less Tom McMahon has on his side is propaganda.
2. Stefan Kosikowski worked his heart out, but came short, but is growing a bigger movement by the day. We have not hear the end from Stefan.
3. Angel needs to be a class act and step aside. He is building a good movement and there is always another day.
Keith Stamm better get his game on, because if he works hard enough he can kick Wyomissing’s own Mayor Marvel-Less Tom McMahon’s ass by a landslide if he wants to but that’s up to him. One thing this primary has proven is that the majority of Reading voters are not behind Mayor Marvel-Less Tom McMahon. That is a fact!

It will be interesting to see if Keith Stamm can pull off the Mayoral race. He’s a good guy, and his message has historically resonated with democrats.
The concern I’ve got is that no one really cares about the election, either way.

Turn out was very low, which helps the incumbents.
Big story for me is 2/3 of Democrats reject McMahon.
McMahon got 4500 votes four years ago in a six way race.
McMahon dropped to under 2200 votes this time in a four way.
McMahon is vulnerable.
I’m supporting Pullano.

Is this good news?
Muhlenberg police chief to retire
A township commissioner asks the 68-year-old to leave, saying the department needs to be restructured.

Reading Eagle
Berks County, PA - Muhlenberg Township Police Chief Robert M. Flanagan will retire Aug. 1, ending a more than 40-year career in law enforcement.
Flanagan recently announced his retirement from the position he’s held for 11 years.
Flanagan, 68, who lives in Kenhorst and is paid $73,000 a year, said it was time to retire.
“I’ve been thinking about this for a while,” Flanagan said Wednesday. “You kind of know when your time has arrived.”
Township Commissioner James Murray, who supervises the police department, said he asked Flanagan to retire this year because he believed the department administration needed restructuring.
“We just wanted to head in a different direction,” Murray said. “There is nothing that he did wrong. I’d highly recommend him to anyone.”
Flanagan said Murray’s plan to restructure the department fit in with his desire to end his law enforcement career.
“I’m sure they are going to pick someone who will be good for the department and who will lead them into the 21st century,” he said.
Muhlenberg hired Flanagan in 1996 following a controversial selection process.
A divided board of commissioners chose Flanagan, who then was retired from the state police, to replace Harley N. Smith, who had retired.
However, even critics of the hiring process said they respected Flanagan.
Township Manager Stephen Landes said Flanagan brought much experience and knowledge to the job.
“The chief is a great person. He brought a lot to the table,” Landes said. “I thought he was a really good guy.”
Flanagan was a state trooper for 30 years, joining after high school and working up the ranks to corporal. He retired in 1993 after 14 years as a patrol supervisor.
During his police career, Flanagan worked as a bodyguard for President Dwight D. Eisenhower after Eisenhower left office.
The Muhlenberg police department, with 30 officers, is the second largest suburban department in Berks County, behind Exeter Township.
Muhlenberg plans to advertise for the chief position next month.

Kieth Stamm is less than impressive, lost the last several elections he ran for City Council, to real duds like Mike Schorn and Strat Marmarou to boot.
Kieth also ran for Reading School Board, but there are often fewer candidates than open positions, leaving every candidate a winner, so don’t consider this a major accomplishment!
I am a Republican, but I think Jennaro Pullano is the best chance to defeat the Elite and Tom McMahon. Stamm will run another lousy campaign and then blame the Republican County Committee for not doing his work for him… like he did when he lost both Council races before.

Good point about the excuses.
It was influential in my decision too.
