Limbaugh Tows Party Line, Abandons Conservative Principles

Having been a listener of Rush Limbaugh’s show for over 12 years, I have not heard so much cheerleading for The Republican Party and abandoning conservative principles as I have heard on his show in the past couple of days. Limbaugh has been expressing his anger toward Conservatives that have been trying to reform the Republican Party back to the days of Reagan, and Goldwater.

Lowering himself to the level Democrats have stooped to during the 1994 school lunch scare kids to death spin, Limbaugh resoted to an attempt to scare the Conservative base into voting for the same old status quo RINOs that have been ignoring the base for far too long. I’m going to counter the following scare tactics from Limbaugh on what would happen if Democrats regain control of the House and Senate.

Scare 1. If Democrats take control your taxes will go up, up, and away. Well I don’t know about you, but out here in Pennsylvania under a Republican controlled state house, and senate our taxes have been going up, up, and insane for at least the past 4 years now from property taxes, income taxes, that stupid EMS tax, expanded emission inspections across the state making it more expensive to inspect your car, out of control spending, and lets not forget the pay raise. The same Republicans that sell out to Fast Eddie Rendell. The same Republicans that mostly have been voted out in their primaries like Jubby The Plum, and David Brightbill.

Scare 2. If Democrats take control, we will have more Liberal Judges controlling the court. As true as it is, remember that with past Republican Presidents Gerald Ford appointed John Paul Stevens who is the biggest Liberal on The Supreme Court. Ronald Regan appointed Sandra Day O’Connor, and Anthony Kennedy. In Reagan’s defense however Sandra Day O’ Conner was more of a constitutionalist in the beginning, and Anthony Kennedy was only appointed due to the fact that an extreme leftist Senate destroyed the character of Robert Bork. Let’s also not forget George H.W. Bush’s appointment of David Souter.

Scare 3. If Democrats take control, the terrorists win. While most Democrats in the house and senate want constitutional rights for terrorists that would so much cut of our heads for reading the holy bible, or watching a Britney Spears music video, this has to be the most irresponsible act from Limbaugh.

We can reform The Republican Party, and in the end be stronger for it. Just as professional sports teams trade, and release players that are no longer effective, or are a burden to their teams, we can do the same thing. Right now The Republican Party is like the 2005 Philadelphia Eagles, but with many shades of Terrell Owens wanting more money, and power, and destroying your own team in the process to obtain their own personal agendas, and could care less about the best interests of the team. Just like the Eagles had a bad season that year, The Republican Party will have its ups and downs on their journey to put in good players, and when that time comes, The Republican Party will be far more successful then they ever would have been with the status quo RINOs.

The fact that Limbaugh is resorting to Liberal type words to blame the Conservative Base for wanting to reform their party which is no different from the ditz that spilled McDonalds Coffee on herself and sued. Limbaugh’s neglect to blame the incumbents for digging their own graves by their own reckless actions; prove how much Limbaugh sold out in favor of the RINOs. Mr. Limbaugh the children that the conservative base elected are misbehaving and are not showing respect for the people that elected them there in the first place, and now it’s time to give them a spanking.

SEC Needs to look into Sovereign Bank, and Jay Sidhu

After todays article in The Reading Eagle about the break in at Sovereign’s Penn Street location in Reading, this is starting to really smell bad folks. Jay Sidhu jumps ship, and a couple of days later this happens? Worse yet Sovereign Bank did not report the break in for almost a whole day. The Reading Police already stated that it was no doubt an inside job.

After Enron, Tyco, WorldCom, etc., the last thing we need in Berks County is something like this. Now all you McMahon, Boscov kool aid drinkers out there now know why you don’t put all your eggs in one basket. It’s time to find out the following.

What did Jay Sidhu know and when did he know it?

What did Al Boscov know and when did he know it? (Oh yes remember Jay Sidhu sits on the board at the Goggle Works, and quite a bit of Sovereign Bank money was involved)

What did Mayor Tom McMahon know and when did he know it? (Oh yes his rear end sits on the Goggle Works board, as well as BCTV’s, and was also up Jay Sidhu’s rear end. I’m shocked that we did not find traces of KY Jelly near the Sovereign Plaza. With all the police patrol on Penn Street on average in that area, and you can’t tell me that they did not notice this?)

All of this warrants an investigation. I said in a prior post about how the local Sovereign Jobs would slowly go away, and this is the kind of stuff that will do it. If these Sovereign employees are to line up for unemployment now or in the future, they have the right to know who is responsible for it.
