I could not help but to be tempted to bang my head against the wall over everybody happy over the Live 8 concert in Philadelphia. What’s worse is that the media is spinning it as if it’s a great success. First of all the event is free, and if they would have to pay one cent would you honestly think they would have a great turnout like they had this weekend? I think not.
Let me give you people a good common sense answer to solve the problems in Africa. Let’s get rid off all of those thugs, and dictators that run all of these African territories that keep the food, and money we give them to themselves, and not give it to the people that need it. President Bush is right on this point spreading freedom to oppressed people is the true answer to ending poverty.
In closing all this amounts up to is one big bully taking our lunch money (all of the donations we make to these people over the years) every day, and keeping it to themselves, and in the end nothing gets done. There is not much more to say about that. I would love to hear what others have to say about it.

I agree 100% Matt. Why don’t you join the military and volunteer for “Operation Anti-Thug” in Africa? At age 27 with a degree in computers I am sure the recruiters would love you! Heck, even I’m a veteran and I’m one of those Democrate who hates America.

Mr. Keller,
Let me throw another idea past you. Would you agree that the UN is nothing, but an organization of these same types of people? A lot of these thugs only exist because we fund them either through events such as Live 8, or though the United Nations.
Here is another one for you. Don’t you think that if we cut off the funding from all ends, and stop brest feeding these people don’t you think that the oppressed people of these countries would have a better chance at an uprising, and overthrow these types of thugs, and have a free country of their own?
Mr. Keller I’m sure you will agree to some point that Iraq was partially the same. We threw all kinds of money at them, and Saddam only grew stronger over the years. Our Founding Fathers knew that this is what happens when we get involved in affairs that are of no interests to us. George Washington even said this.
So Mr. Keller I would love to hear your feedback on this.

Here’s aletter from Uncle Sam for you Jimmy Boy, “Jim, I WANT YOU TO GO FUCK YOURSELF!” You can take that one to the bank you faggot. Operation Anti-Thug.. did that take you all night to come up with? Well congratu-fucking-lations. Why don’t you sign off this site, go back to your weed-passing circle and light one up for old time’s sake you hippie asshole. Fuck you and have a nice day!

To Berks Repub:
No hippies in my family. My Viet Nam veteran father wouldn’t allow it. It would seem that your father allows douche-bags in his family, however.

Jim Keller you quote in a previous post about the Constitution.
“jimkeller said…
I will make one more post just to clear things up. My father wasn’t spat upon by any hippy. In fact he had several friends who were hippies. He was, however, told by a certain commander of a certain Berks County American Legion hall that “Viet Nam baby killers aren’t welcome here.” This was in 1968. He also had trouble finding a job because corporate American wouldn’t hire Viet Nam veterans. The spitting hippie is a myth created by the media to undermine the peace movement. As to John Kerry, he at least was there and has the right to voice his opinion on Viet Nam. Once again, I ask are you a veteran?”
If your father did not approved of Hippies in his family why would he have hippies for friends?
As for your last post it was nothing but typical Moveon.org/Democrat Party talking points. As a matter of fact I was listing to the radio this morning and this moveon.org person said word for word what you said.
Mr. Keller please just admit who you are, and stop trying to mask it.
July 13, 2005 at 1:27 pm
Mask what? I am not affiliated with MoveOn.org in any way, and I have never been. My father was a Democrat mostly because after he was in the Teamsters for better than 20 years. My previous post about my father’s miserable experiences in the 60s and 70s was to point out that much of the bias Vietnam veterans faced was at the hands of conservative corporate America, which wouldn’t give them jobs, and from the right-wing American Legion and VFW who didn’t want “drug addicted, baby killing losers” in their club. The spitting hippie was mostly a myth used to drive a wedge between the anti-war movement, and returning veterans who were also against the war. Since you never served in uniform and have no inclination to do so—unless Bush brings back the draft :)–you have no idea what I am talking about.

Um, excuse me, but wasn’t reinstating the draft floated by a Democrat - Charlie Rengel(sp)
