Once again Pennsylvania Senate majority leader David Brightbill is acting as a lapdog to Governor Ed “Fast Eddy” Rendell. Senator Brightbill proposed, and got passed a commission to study the possibility of charging tolls on various Pennsylvania State highways. The Schuylkill Expressway in Philadelphia, and Interstate 80 are the main two. The reason for the tolls is to bail out the ever so failing mass transit systems of Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. I’m sick and tired of these people picking our back pockets constantly. We just had an increase in tolls on the PA Turnpike. When that was proposed the Turnpike commission claimed that 100% of that money would go into much needed highway improvement on the whole stretch of the Turnpike. Instead the stupid union had the toll takers out on strike for more money. This latest scam that Brightbill is proposing would be along those lines. More union cry babies that get paid over $18.00 an hour to sit on their butts, and take tickets, and money from people. Mass Transit needs to be left to the cities. Just like any other business if something does not make a profit it performs cost cutting measures, and if they still can’t make a profit they do away with it. This should go for mass transit.

As for David Brightbill he has become such a traitor to the people he represents in the State Senate. Do you remember when Ed Rendell proposed the increase in the state income tax? David Brightbill promised that he would vote against it, and fight it until the bitter end. Later on he bends over, and grabs the ankles for Fast Eddy, and claims a victory for Republicans on the grounds that the tax increase could have been much worse. He is now doing this again with this stupid toll proposal. We need to get rid of Brightbill, and put in a true Conservative that will fight against the continuing pick pocketing of our hard earned money. David Brightbill you have sold us out for the last time, and you will pay for it at the ballot box. David Brightbill leave our hard earned money alone. We are already overtaxed in this state, and your jackass proposal will just continue to chase people and businesses out of this state. David Brightbill just proved he is a RINO (Republican in name only).

Within the next two months the whole world will witness the most anticipated show this summer referring to Saddam Hussein’s trial, but the ending will not be a happy one for either the United States, or the victim’s of this butcher over the past 30 years. Just as we left the job unfinished in the first Gulf War by not going after Saddam we are about to do the same thing again. Iraq’s new president said that he will not in any way shape or form sign a death warrant for Saddam Hussein if he is found guilty of all of his crimes. This just proves that all of our tax dollars that went to this war have been wasted in the name of political correctness. The whole purpose of this war was to not only to rid the world of possible weapons of mass destruction, but most importantly to rid the world of Saddam Hussein, and to make sure he is no longer a threat to the world. If Saddam Hussein is allowed to live after all of this there will be a massive backlash not only in Iraq, but the United States as well. Here are a few examples.

If Saddam is allowed to live the terrorist activity will continue to get worse, the Iraqi government that is in place now will be overthrown, and Saddam will be back in power within the next 5 years. The world will be worse off.

The victims of Saddam will truly hate us when we are harder on our own people for putting a thong on the head of a terrorist, but give a pass to a person that butchered women, children, and infants, and dumped them into mass graves.

The American people will be furious with high gas prices, and being overtaxed finding out that their tax dollars were wasted. Especially the families of these soldiers will be angry because their sons and daughters that gave their lives will be in vein.

Our elected officials will pay big time at the ballot box in 2006. The impeachment demands for President Bush will continue to increase. The Conservative base will come out in droves to vote out these spineless Republican’s in their primaries.

The whole purpose of war is to destroy the enemy. We can’t continue to fight our wars like a fisherman that catches a fish, and throws it back into the lake to catch it another day. If we start something we better darn well finish it. We do have the power to bring sanity back to this, and it’s called the ballot box. It’s time we call these people on their actions. They have been fondling us like Michael Jackson does to little boys for far too long and getting away with it. It’s time to end this political correctness which is destroying our country once and for all. Then the world will be a better place.

Just when you think this county can’t get any worse. I read the opinion piece of the Reading Eagle on Friday, and they are upset that public schools are going to be required to teach, and educate students about the Constitution of the United States. The very document that people paid for with their own blood to ensure that freedom will always live on. The very document that ensures our citizens have control over our government, and not government controlling its citizens. The very same document that ensures the Reading Eagle’s right to freedom of the press. The Reading Eagle you think would be excited that this great document will be taught, and future generations will benefit from this education, and have a better understanding of the Constitution, and the history of our nation. They don’t, because it scares them to death. The biggest threat to Liberalism is not Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Sean Hannity, Tom Delay, or President Bush, but it’s the Constitution itself that Liberals fear the most. They fear this great document just as much as they fear the Bible. If these Liberal run schools are forced to teach the Constitution, and have their students read it from top to bottom the student bodies of these schools will find a massive conflict of what these teachers are teaching them, and what the Constitution tells them. Here are just a few points of what these children will find out from the Constitution that the Liberals especially in Berks County are scared to death of.

These students will find out that what the Democrats are doing in the U.S. Senate to block the Presidents judicial nominations is unconstitutional.

These students will learn that the judiciary of the United States was never intended to be an unelected, body of agenda driven individuals making law from the bench, but meant to interpret the Constitution.

These students will learn that the Constitution does not mention anywhere about Abortion on Demand being a guaranteed right.

Most of all these students will learn that the Constitution was not written to say what rights its citizens have, but to restrict government from oppressing its citizens. Our Founding Fathers knew that any kind of government is a dangerous animal. Our Constitution exists to tame that dangerous animal, and to prevent it from growing into a monster that can be no longer controlled. Our students in America will learn that this is exactly what has happened today. Liberals are attacking the Lion tamer referring to our Constitution, and the Lion referring to our government has grown into a monster that is out of control. Liberals like the people at the Reading Eagle believe that if we just feed this dangerous animal referring to our government everything will be fine. What you get is a dangerous animal that gets stronger, where Conservatives believe that if we starve this dangerous animal it will begin to shrink in size, and back to a point where it can be tamed, and prevented from doing harm to good people.
The Reading Eagle claims that teaching the Constitution of the United States is “unconstitutional”. These Liberals have shown their true colors, because in their minds the Constitution is unconstitutional. The bottom line is the Reading Eagle has just admitted it is anti-American.
