I feel the perfect way to debut this blog is by pointing out the recent hypocritical attitudes of people in Berks County. I was recently reading the blog section of the Reading Eagle which is the local newspaper in Berks County, PA. As most of you people know who the Gosselin family is. They are the family that made headlines by bringing in sextuplets into this world. There has been a serious hot button issue relating to a state funded nurse that has been helping this family. Most of the residents in Berks County have been labeling the Gosselins such things as welfare bums, lazy asses, and so on. As I’m reading this rotgut hate coming from these people it makes me sick to be a resident of Berks County myself, as I have been subjected to numerous smear campaigns from Berks County. To be brief Berks County is a very left wing liberal community, and if you don’t meet their “status quo” then you are literally an enemy.
Now let me be clear. I will be the first one to say that we have a lot of social programs, and funding that is a waste of our tax dollars, and we are overtaxed especially in Berks County. I do believe that a lot of these wasteful programs need to be done away with, however the Gosselins are not the poster children of welfare abuse. So before you hypocrites open your ignorant mouths about this family allow me to point out a few things about you.
How many of you that are complaining about this family don’t complain when your taxes go up? As a matter of fact most of the townships in Berks County actually dance in the street for joy on the basis of “giving to charity”. That charity is ok when its crack whores, illegal aliens, etc.
How many of you that are complaining about this family collect Social Security? The Gosselins I’m sure feel that the nurse provided to them by the state of Pennsylvania is in a way payback of their hard earned tax dollars over the years. You senior citizens that collect Social Security claim that it is owed to you on the basis that you are only getting back what you put into the system in the first place. Well I’m sure that’s how the Gosselins feel about their nurse for their children.
How many of you that are complaining about this family used for work for Dana Corp.? Yes Dana, and you people know who you are. The biggest group of free loaders on the planet. You people killed your golden goose with $40.00 per hour fork lift operators for an example. You people free loaded off of free road salt for your driveways, free gas for your boats, and cars. You people stole so much shit, and milked Dana Corp. to the point they could not afford to keep the Reading plant in business. Even worse the free loading did not stop there. You had unemployment extended for over 2 ½ years beyond what anybody else could get. You could claim that unemployment in full regardless of what wages you made on the side. You were also provided a psychologist, because you were in such a depressive state of mind. All paid for by the tax payer. Typical Berks County. Nobody complains about this scam, but they will attack a single family over a nurse.
Berks County really has gone to hell in a hand basket over the past 5 years. The only form of employment you can get is either flipping burgers, or working at a Sheetz, or Wawa. These people will smear the Gosselins, but will not have an outrage over a tax increase over saving a stupid piece of land referring to Antietam Lake from being developed that can bring in jobs, and economic activity for Berks County. In that I claim Berks County the hypocritical capital of the world.

My whole point being that if it is not good enough for one person who is making an effort to improve their lives, but others particularly illegal aliens, drug abusers, and so on then its not good enough for anybody, and proves that these social programs are a failure, and need to be done away with period. The issue with the Gosselins is related to a nurse. The part I find amazing about the whole issue at hand is that these same people that are smearing this family openly embrace the same types of people like I mentioned above that are truly abusing the system with free housing, free auto repairs, free needles to support their drug habit, free condoms so they can continue to whore around, free healthcare, and so on. The path the Gosselins are taking are for the best interests of their children where these other people are getting all of these freebies that don’t want to in any way improve their lives. So until these hypocrites that are smearing the Gosselins denounce the abuse of these scum bags, then they need to shut up. They can’t have it both ways. Either keep these welfare programs, or go to the ballot box, and vote out their elected representatives that support them.

Crack whores, illegal aliens, and the Steelworkers of DANA. Let’s see: the steelworkers of DANA have paid into the pot of this city for over 90 years on a salary of say $40 an hour. Thats how many millions and millions of tax dollars to the city state and country. Not to mention the taxes the company itself paid in. In fact initially this city was built on the sweat (It’s 100 deg in the shop on an 80 deg day) of the thousands that have worked there and lived here over the years. I’m not saying they didn’t bargain themselves out of a job - But; you are comparing their 1.5 year UNEMPLOYMENT extension to the Excessive welfare dollars given to two people in their twenties (running a baby factory) who have paid how much into the tax pot. Not much I assume with 9 dependants, except maybe the property tax on their sprawling home in Wyomissing and, according to them, the 50,000 salary they have made for a few years. Are you serious. You should buff up on your math skills. I can see you comparing them to crack whores and illegal aliens but leave out the hard working Steelworkers who built this city. Hard work is obviously alien to most of you young folks in this town who think it’s not fair to have to live without 3 cars and a nurse when you decide to have kids in litters (”making an effort to improve their lives” your joking) with no planning on how to support them cause the good folks of Berks County will shower you with money. The Geosslins come off as scammers. Sorry. I’m sure you’ll remove this cause your blog is obviously dedicated to nonesense.

Hey you free loading Dana worker,
You need to move on. You guys screwed yourselves out of a job. Why should I pay for your sorry ass, because you took one of the big ecconomic blocks of Berks County away, because $40.00/hr was not good enough for you on top of all the things you people stole from the company over the years including gas, paint, road salt, etc.
If I had to pick between helping a family with children who support life, or a bunch of drunken Dana bums like yourselves that screwed yourselves I will pick a greatful family over you any day.
